XiaoDong Hao is lead lawyer of Beijing Kaiming Law Offices. As a young lawyer XiaoDong worked for David Buxbaum, the doyen of American lawyers resident in Beijing in the early 1990s who represented many US companies in the first wave of investments into China.
XiaoDong had over the years represented clients such as Microsoft, GM, Citibank, Lotus, Autodesk and Gaz in high profile and successful claims against Chinese parties in the Chinese courts and before the arbitration tribunals in China. He has an outstanding breadth and depth of knowledge of the Chinese legal system.
Of late, XiaoDong had been engaged in advisory and commercial work and had represented many substantial Chinese companies.
He works with Arthur Loke closely in bringing claims of multi-nationals before the Chinese courts, where the combined efforts of both parties yield the best results for the clients for strategy, close liaison with the clients, proper perspectives of the judges and their actions, and the highest ethical standards in the conduct of the case.
